Abstract Submission Guidelines for Paper Symposia & Individual Poster

Abstract submission is open for paper symposia and individual posters. To submit your abstract(s), you must sign in or log in to the website.

The submitter is responsible for any typographical errors.
The abstract title must not exceed 15 words.
The abstract body must not exceed 250 words.
Do not include the title, author names, or institutional affiliations in the abstract body.
The word/character limit applies only to the main content of the abstract (Background, Purpose, Methods, Results, and Conclusion).
You are required to provide up to five keywords.
Submitted abstract(s) can be modified until the submission deadline.

Instructions for Submitting a Symposium

To submit a symposium, the representative must first register the symposium summary and integrative abstract in order to receive a symposium code. Presenters will then use this code to submit their individual papers. Once all papers are submitted, the representative can adjust the presentation order via MYPAGE.

Step 1: A representative of your symposium should click “Register Symposium” button to begin the symposium registration process.
At this stage, you are required to provide the Symposium’s type, title, topic, keywords, and chair(s) information. If applicable, include discussant’s information as well.
You will also need to submit an integrative abstract (maximum 250 words) for the symposium.
Note: Once the symposium is registered, it cannot be deleted.
Step 2: Upon registering the symposium, you will receive a symposium code. Please share this code with the presenters in your symposium.
Step 3: Each presenter in your symposium should click “Symposium Paper Abstract Submission” button to submit their abstract and author(s) information in accordance with the guidelines. Be sure to include the symposium code.
Step 4: The representative can set the presentation order of the submitted abstracts via MYPAGE of the website.

NOTES

Symposium registration and all paper submissions must be completed by the deadline.
The representative may edit the symposium summary and integrative abstract, and adjust the presentation order in MYPAGE.
Papers cannot be deleted by the representative. Only the individual submitter may delete their own abstract in their MYPAGE.
The presentation order can be adjusted by the deadline.

IMPORTANT Notes Before Submitting Your Abstracts

Each individual may be listed as the presenting author on no more than two submitted abstracts.
If the presenting author of an accepted poster or paper does not complete registration by the specified deadline, the presentation will be removed from the conference program. If the original presenter is unable to attend, another co-author must register in order for the presentation to remain in the program.
